As many of us know, the primary goal for any organization is to be successful. E-Learning has been the leading training tool in creating a strong internal team. This training tool has been proven to help many different types of organization s to make the right connections with the right people, ideas, strategies, tools, technologies, and resources.
I think that the next step for e-learning in the future for both higher education and in the workplace is to take it mobile. Many companies are now developing applications for mobile devices to take on the very challenge to lead us into the future with more accountability.

The are always creating something new for us old folks to try to keep up with. I know that new technology can not be slowed down nor should it be, but if the older work force can not keep up the job force will loose all the people that know the history and that may not always be the best thing for a company. Maybe a mixture of new things and good old face to face would be benificial to a company.
I think you may be correct in mobile applications being the next wave in technology for e-learning. However, I have yet to see how applications can be locked down, password protected, or internalized. Applications seem to be open to anybody that wants to download them and pay any cost that may be associated with the application.
