Webex - Utilizing the latest communication technologies

I choose to do my research on Webex a web conferencing and collaboration software. Webex is a Cisco company that provides numerous solutions for various business needs from marketing, training, sales and support. After going through Webex’s testimonial’s I was surprised at how many large companies use Webex for various tasks such as: Continental, Subaru, Canon and 1-800-flowers just to name a few. Webex utilizes some of the latest advances in technology such as video conferencing, file transfer while remotely connected, texting within a dialog box while connected remotely and the option to create one time use teleconferencing telephone numbers. Webex is able to offer video conferencing without having to commit to time and money for traditional conferencing devices and software and general overhead. Not only is Webex able to offer so many avenues to conduct business but they are also able to offer it with the assurance of secure connections. Webex creates connections utilizing encryption, integrated security and authentication.
