Thank you. I have always learned by doing. My passion for cooking came from watching my grandmother and mother in the kitchen. They never measured anyting. They used a pinch of salt, dash of pepper or a hand full of cheese when making the meatballs for spaghetti. It looks like I am not alone.

I also have to experience something in order to really learn and understand. I can read a book or manual, but until I actually do what it says I cannot really comprehend. I am more of a hands on person.
