Apple: a technology leader for the people.

I have always been impressed with the way that Apple has done business. They have a very wide range of products which are well known throughout the world. Their product research and development has made them one of the top competing companies in their field. Steve Jobs is the CEO of Apple, which he co-founded in 1976. Apple leads the industry in innovation with its award-winning Macintosh computers, OS X operating system, and consumer and professional applications software. Apple is also leading the digital music revolution, having sold almost 200 million iPods and over six billion songs from its iTunes online store. Apple has also entered the mobile phone market with its revolutionary iPhone. The iPhone and the iPod have created multiple ways for group collaborative communication. The first way is with the iTunes website. It was a good way for a technology leader to take a lead in the market and also help solve the problem with illegal downloading. At first the i-Tunes website only offered music downloads, but at the request of the customer, the new iPods offered video capability. This led to further enhancements to the i-Tunes website by adding the ability to download movies, TV series, and famous internet videos. Of course Apple did not stop here. The incredible growth of the video consumption by the customer led Apple to produce the AppleTV. AppleTV was another product of group collaborative communication. With the knowledge that Apple gained from its website and customer reviews, Apple made a jump by creating the most popular cell phone available: the iPhone. One of the greatest attractions that the iPhone offers is the ability to buy Apps from the Apple website. This is the greatest example of success through group collaboration. Not only does Apple come up with new Apps available for download monthly, but customers are given the chance to write Apps and submit them to Apple for publication. If the Apps are a hit, then the person who wrote them can even be paid for each time they are downloaded.
I believe that Apple is the best company to show how group collaboration can make success. They have proven it over and over again with the success of their products. Loyal Apple customers can check on rumors or hints on new products that are coming and release dates for the confirmed. When a product's release date is announced, the strength of Apple's performance and un-matched uniqueness, causes quite the commotion. People will line up for hours, and even the night before the release date to make sure they are one of the first to have the new technology. If this is not proof of success, I do not know what is!

This phrase was coined by Mikko Hypponen of F-Secure when referring to bots and malware. F-Secure is a provider of IT security products and services. They are considered to be one of the leaders in the IT security field and are on the cutting edge of secure data transmission products.
With security being on the collective minds of many corporations, F-Secure provides effective and intelligent methods of secure data transmissions over the web by utilizing both existing protocols and new technologies. F-Secure pioneered the “security as a service” business model, and has sold this service to over 180 ISP’s around the world.
F-Secure has made a name for themselves in the industry by providing secure products for numerous platforms, and by detecting threats before they reach the general population. Their Chief Research Officer, Mikko Hypponen, is a visionary who has gained the respect of CIO’s worldwide for his ability to identify a threat, mitigate the threat, and quickly deploy a fix for the threat before it begins to propagate.
Since security as a service is easy to deploy, protection can be provided for an end user or a large organization at a minimal cost. This allows F-Secure to remain viable while developing new technology based products. With less than 800 employees, F-Secure is a lean and mean juggernaut in the IT security industry.
